Copperkelp Caffè is a fictional coffee shop intended to be located somewhere in the center of New York City. The visual identity is designed by me Doberstud, a graphic design student at Duperré. I interned at Bureau Clément Brunner, an independent graphic designer.
"Made with love"
This coffee shop is indeed, an internship report. The visual identity is highly inspired by Clément's style.
I got this idea of designing a coffee shop from scratch, firstly because the first time we met, we had a coffee on a sidewalk near my school. Secondly, because he's been showing me all the cool coffee shops he's been seeing on social network. Even if the coffee shop is not real, it still reminds me of the time I spent there. I would describe this experience like a cold icedbrew under the warm sunlight.
"Last words"
Lastly, I want to extend my sincere thanks to Clément for this incredible internship. I’d say that this has been one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. I learned so much at your office, and I would love to see how far we can go, both as individuals and as designers. Wish you best.
P.S. I’d also like to thank Maya Gobbé for her great contribution to the coffee shop design.
